last friday night

Last Friday night was memorable, fun and unexpected. Memorable because it was Mommy K’s last day at work before her maternity leave - we were supposed to give her a surprise baby shower but since she had to leave early for a checkup, we had to postpone the actual “shower” and just gave her our gifts.Bitin. Fun - because it was the first time for the team to have a videoke night turned talk show turned revelation night. The unexpected part was for me. The original plan was that the nightout was for K’s baby shower and our boss’ belated welcome party. Turned out, it was also the team’s sendoff party for me. I will surely miss my team.
